No references to curl anywhere in the source. However, per git history of this ebuild, version 1.x of the package had a patch applied which touched curl-using code. Seems this dep got refactored out... back in 2007. Just, never removed from the ebuild. Signed-off-by: Eli Schwartz <eschwartz@gentoo.org>
