Gentoo is not yet ready for Java 9 so a gentoo-vm USE flag has been added and masked to potentially allow but deny by default the ability for the system to recognise this JDK. Oracle has dropped support for many platforms, including 32-bit x86. Many thanks to Craig Andrews and Manuel Ullmann for providing the initial ebuild that I based this on.
