As described in b3eea84d1e (dev-vcs/git: rebase fsmonitor patch for
-9999-r{2,3}, 2026-05-12), the original fsmonitor patch needs adjusted
for newer Git versions which have seen some conflicting change in that
areas.
We previously updated the "next" and "seen" ebuilds to use an applicable
patch; graduate that patch to master since Git has merged the topic in
4d11b9c218 (Merge branch 'pt/fsmonitor-linux', 2026-05-31).
After the next release, it will need propagated to the appropriate
ebuild (likely 2.55) and presumably to the "maint" ebuild as well.
