* Backport some commits to fix PyPy3 support.
* Use pytest-xdist to speed up tests.
* Recommend maintained MySQL packages instead of mysql-python.
* Remove unused mock test dependency.
* Remove Python 2 workaround.
* Stop compressing examples.
* This version supports pytest 6 (#748921).
