Fix broadcom to compile under 7.1 kernels. Due to the growing number of patches needed to keep this driver alive and workload seemingly being doubled up between Arch, Debian, Ubuntu and us, I request a central patch repo be created to help us pool resources. As Joan does nearly all the real work, they were the one to create this and allow us an easier way to give feedback and help where possible. https://github.com/joanbm/broadcom-wl-linux-mainline For us now though, the real benefit is clearing out the filedir patches which has been a long time overdue resolving. It was decided for this release to keep the patches in place and remove them at a later date so we can more easily revert is needed. Moving forward we only have to change the commit hash to keep up with new kernels and no longer need to edit patches to workaround an historical patch we did differently.
